The position of Operations Manager involves planning and coordinating the work activities and resources necessary to efficiently control key company metrics that encompass quality, safety, cost and productivity goals local to the facility. The scope of this role includes aspects of facility production and maintenance, safety, human resources, and financial budgets and analysis.

The client is looking for an Operations Management professional to join the company for the long run.

  • Candidates from Incheon or who are willing to commute to Incheon are considered.
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business administration, management or industrial engineering preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years operations experience preferred.
  • Prior managerial or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Prior knowledge of business and management, financial and accounting, safety and human resources, project management principles and practices.
  • Rotogravure printing experience with flexible plastics preferred.
  • Experience with lamination preferred.
  • Strong understanding of ERP processes including MRP, bills of materials and planning bills preferred.
  • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the English language at a fluent level to perform job functions.
  • Ability to apply safe practices and procedures for performing the essential functions of the job.
  • Ability to apply logical thinking to solve problems or accomplish tasks.
  • Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions promptly and accurately.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of individuals.
  • Work well in a progressive, team-oriented environment.
  • Have a positive attitude and be a self-starter.

Working Environment/Physical Requirements:
  • The duties of this position generally involve sedentary office work.
  • Some travel may be required. 
  • Moderate physical activity is required.  
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion. 
  • Ability to sit, talk, see and hear. 
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop/bend, lift, and frequent repetitive motion and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, and normal vision. 
  • Frequent use of technical office equipment including personal computer, document preparation equipment, copier, postage equipment, telephone and fax machine. 
  • This position has frequent exposure to periods of high activity, interruptions and high stress under demanding and occasionally adversarial conditions. 
  • The position requires communication with Company employees customers, and other individuals. 
  • Work hours will vary depending upon the needs of the Company’s customers at any given time and will involve working long or non-traditional hours to fulfill Company and/or customer’ needs, projects or special circumstances. 
The Operations Manager will be provided with all necessary tools and support from peers as well as management in the company in order to succeed.
