The position of the Human Resources Supervisor is responsible for training, performance management, employee inquiries, transaction processing, compensation planning, employee relations and talent acquisition as needed. In collaboration with the Operational Leadership Team and Departmental Managers, the Human Resources Supervisor will be accountable for deploying strategic initiatives regarding Human Resource Management.

  • Candidates from Green Bay, Appleton, Oshkosh, WI area are considered;
  • Bachelor's Degree from four-year College or university preferred;
  • Our client is looking for someone who would step up into this role and thrive in taking this new challenge;
  • Minimum 5 years direct Human Resource experience required, including a minimum of 3 years in a Human Resource Generalist role;
  • Knowledge and understanding of human resources and employment practices (selection, interviewing, job evaluations, etc.);
  • Experience in human resources functions in a manufacturing environment;
  • Ability to work with little supervision and make responsible decisions;
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record;
  • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the English language at a level adequate to perform job functions;
  • Experience working with MS Office Suite of products;
  • Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions promptly and accurately;
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of individuals;
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other Company employees, representatives of manufacturers, vendors or third-parties, and customer representatives;
  • Ability to work well under pressure and under stressful conditions;
  • Ability to coordinate, prioritize and timely and satisfactorily complete many different tasks;
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and overtime hours as necessary.
Essential duties
  • Acts as subject matter expert on daily job tasks performed by Human Resources Team. Ability to fill in as needed or assign work, provide clear direction to Human Resources Policies and Procedures, and ensure Human Resource Department is meeting goals and objectives as directed;
  • Provides concise and accurate reports for Senior Corporate Human Resource Manager as needed;
  • Demonstrates proficiency in job duties by streamlining processes and procedures and working cooperatively to provide support to all team members;
  • Coaches and develops direct reports;
  • Monitors US HR department attendance and processes vacation and paid time off (PTO) requests;
  • During absences of team members, coordinates additional workload;
  • Schedules, prepares and conducts performance reviews for direct reports;
  • Ensures that standard operating procedures (SOP’s) are followed by all team members;
  • Manages cross department problems, including issue escalation and resolution as needed.
