Security Analyst 1
The Department of Information Resources (DIR) requires the services of one Security Analyst, hereafter referred to as Worker(s), who meets the general qualifications of a Security Analyst 1 Category, Core Technology Type and the specifications outlined in this document for the Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA). The Cybersecurity Analyst I position assists in the maintenance and operation of a variety of security measures and software that perform cybersecurity functions. The worker assists in providing support to the end-user community and ensuring they have up-to-date protection from malicious software and other cyber threats. The worker tests security measures to reduce and mitigate risk. The worker provides reports and other information related to information security issues as requested by management and other groups. Assists in evaluation and analysis of security applications and systems. This position develops competence by performing structured work assignments and receives instruction, guidance and direction from supervisor, manager and/or more experienced colleagues. Services are expected to start as soon as possible to be completed January2020. The duration is expected to be roughly 12 months, 2080 hours. This service may be amended, renewed and/or extended providing LCRA and vendor agree to do so in writing. |
